    Let’s Talk About Race Series

Please join Derek Francis, Minneapolis Public Schools School Counseling Manager, in the following webinar series. We ask that you commit to attending every session in the series and doing the in-between session work to fully benefit from participating in Let’s Talk About Race.

This series is intended for counselors that have already begun the foundational personal equity work of Identity Reflection, Bias & Privilege, and Cultural Humility and are looking for training on how to bring racial inequity conversations to your school communities.

August 12 – How to talk about race issues with families

March 2nd-6th is School Social Work Week.  In our role as advocates, it's important to advocate for ourselves as a valuable resource to our school and community.  A big part of that is educating staff, administrators, and community members about what we do!  It is also important to take time to celebrate each other and our accomplishments so that we have fuel to continue to do the work!  Here are some resources to educate and celebrate!
