Professional Recognition Award Nominations are Now Open!

Recognizing the great school counseling work from around the state is usually such an exciting piece of our WSCA conference. But these recognitions are more than an award and photo opp on stage. This is our time to highlight exemplary school counselors, thank stakeholders, and lift up best practices in the state of Wisconsin.

As a state, Wisconsinites tend to be humble people. When the spotlight shifts from our students and families to us personally, we get modest about our work. However, for the sake of our students we need to get loud and proud about our counseling program outcomes. Let’s start thinking about these nominations as advocacy tools. This our chance to speak to administrators, legislators, and community members about how important our work is to student success. Amazing things are happening in the state of Wisconsin, let’s tell the rest of the country what we are doing.

Submit today! Applications close November 30, 2020
